About

The Wild Side Blog is a website dedicated to education about animals. It started back in January 2011 on a free blogging site, and has now moved to it's very own web domain (thewildsideblog.com). This particular blog, The Wild Side Blog Feed, is exactly what the title says: an updates feed for The Wild Side. Every time a post is made on the website, a summarized version will be posted here. This helps readers have more access to updates!

About the Website and About Me:
I’ve been fascinated with animals since I was little. While growing up my parents took my sister and I to the city library and I always chose to read books about wildlife. We also visited zoos, national and state parks, museums, and nature centers. I did wildlife projects and reports in 4-H, too.

I’m currently studying zoology as an undergrad student at Colorado State University (two more semesters left!). My dream job would be to work directly with exotic animals and wildlife, either through a zoo, sanctuary, rehabilitation center, scientific field research, or some other means.
I started The Wild Side Blog to connect with other animal-lovers, and to learn about animals together!
